General Terms and Conditions
The use of the website www.worldwidetb.eu and services is subject to the present General Terms and Conditions, which apply to all online and upon request bookings and purchases.
Worldwide Tourism Business is the distinctive title of ‘Mareland Worldwide Tourism Business LTD’ registered in Cyprus (VAT Reg. No CY10360545H), whose registered office is at 29, Grigori Afxentiou str., Shop G5, Olympia Court, Mesa Geitonia – 4003 Limassol, Cyprus.
References to “you” and “your” in these terms of business means all persons on the booking confirmation (including anyone added or substituted at a later date). “We”, “us” and “our” means Worldwide Tourism Business.
Worldwide Tourism Business act as an interface between you and various third party suppliers of travel services (“Service Suppliers”) through which you can book any product(s) you choose as a result of the searches performed through our website. Service Suppliers include among others accommodation providers, transport providers, car rental services, excursions and sailing services or any other 3rd party supplying us with the services that are available on our website.
Worldwide Tourism Business act only as an agent
When Worldwide Tourism Business process your booking the contract for the travel services you choose will be between you and the Service Supplier. The Service Suppliers’ Booking Conditions will apply to your booking and you must agree to them before Worldwide Tourism Business can process your booking request.
Worldwide Tourism Business, because we act as booking agent, accept no responsibility or liability for the acts or omissions of, or services provided by, Service Suppliers. We advise you to read their Booking Conditions carefully as they do contain important information about your booking. Please ask us for copies of these if you do not have them.
Upon completion of the relevant fields through our booking form on our website, you give explicit mandate to Worldwide Tourism Business to act as the broker in providing travel services by the requested supplier. After booking and purchasing any service through our website, you shall receive confirmation of your booking and purchase by e-mail. You are obliged to verify the accuracy of the confirmation data and inform Worldwide Tourism Business within 24 hours for any discrepancies or errors in the original reservation. In case of late reporting to Worldwide Tourism Business of any errors and discrepancies, Worldwide Tourism Business bears no responsibility and your booking will be subject to these terms and conditions, as well as the terms and conditions of each of the Service Supplier of any booked service.
Individual Travel Products
Worldwide Tourism Business is not a tour operator which means we neither arrange nor combine nor package travel products. We provide a search facility to enable your connection to those who do arrange travel products. Each travel product you choose is a separate booking, independent of other travel products booked at the same time. Where you book more than one travel product, these are not a combination.
The flexibility that Worldwide Tourism Business offers is that you are under no obligation to book more than one travel product and each travel product can be booked wholly independently of the others. When we use the term “booking” we do so for your convenience and it refers to either the individual booking for one travel product or the multiple bookings you have made at the same time.
All bookings are made subject to both Worldwide Tourism Business terms and conditions and the specific booking conditions of your relevant Service Supplier(s). It is your responsibility to ensure that you have read, understood both prior to booking, as by proceeding to a booking or purchase you accept them without any objection.
By clicking to book and entering your personal and payment details on our website, you are requesting us to make an offer to the Service Supplier to purchase the products(s) on your behalf. At this point we immediately re-contact the Service Supplier. Each Service Supplier will still require a short period of time to confirm that your chosen Service is still available at the price indicated on the website. Although the email confirmation sent to you is NOT contractual acceptance of the Service Supplier’s ability to provide this product, it is an acknowledgement that we have received your offer, and should the product be available as detailed on our website then you have entered into a legally binding agreement to purchase this product subject to the Service Supplier’s Booking Conditions.
Once we have received confirmation from the Service Supplier, we will contact you via email to let you know that your order has been booked. The contract is formed when the Service Supplier issues its confirmation and their booking reference number. Please note that once your booking has been confirmed to us, you can only cancel the booking in accordance with the present General Terms and Conditions and the relevant Service Supplier’s Booking Conditions which may involve cancellation charges.
All hotels featured on our website are booked through the Service Supplier named on your paperwork. The ratings featured on our website are based on the official tourist board ratings.
The dates of your accommodation booking will be included on your accommodation voucher (please check this carefully). After registration, when you arrive at your accommodation, you will be allocated a room, in which you can normally check in after 14:00 on your arrival date. You must normally check-out of your room by 12 noon on the departure day. These hours are the usual practice however each accommodation may have different policy which will be mentioned during the booking process. Early check in or late check out may be possible upon request, subject to availability and extra charge normally payable directly to the Service Supplier. You are advised to request early check in or late check out as early in advance as possible, however this is only a request and not part of the contract, therefore the Service Supplier has no obligation to provide such service.
If any of the Service Suppliers receives an unreasonable proportion of justified complaints from our customers, we will remove them from our website.
If you have a complaint while you are using the services, you must inform the Service Supplier’s management immediately in order to give them the chance to resolve the problem immediately or as soon as possible. The Service Suppliers do not accept any customer complaints unless the customer has reported them to the Management and has obtained a relevant report signed by the management.
Failure from your side to do so may affect your rights under the contract with the Service Supplier and you may lose any right to compensation. If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, you should then contact Worldwide Tourism Business customer service at the time of your complaint during the use of the service. We will take every possible action to resolve the problem to your satisfaction.
We will pass on any special requests you may have to the Service Supplier concerned with your booking. Please note that while the Service Supplier will make every effort to fulfil your requests they cannot be guaranteed. Special requests do not form part of your contract with them.
If you have any specific requirements when booking your holiday because you or any member of your party is disabled or less mobile, then you must ensure you have chosen and researched your hotel carefully. It is advisable for you to email us with your questions prior to making a booking so we can advise on the most suitable hotels for your party.
Unless you have reserved a transfer during the booking process or at a later stage, no booking includes a transfer. Please ensure that you have made adequate arrangements to access your selected hotel.
Payment and Prices
In order for your booking to be valid the full amount must be received by us in the following methods:
- By credit/debit card through our secure online system.
- By bank transfer (please send an email to our customer service for our bank account details).
Any refund will be made to the same credit card or bank account that the payment came from.
All prices on our website are subject to the final confirmation of the service supplier.
Prices on our website are accurate only in EURO. Any price in any other currency is indicative and provided to assist you in calculating the approximate cost in your currency.
All prices on our website refer to the described product or service and include our commission, all applicable taxes, service charges and credit card charges. Currency exchange fees that your bank may charge are not included in the prices and Worldwide Tourism Business accepts no responsibility for those fees. If any product or service is available by the Service Supplier upon extra charge, it will be clearly stated in the product/ service description. You are advised to read the descriptions carefully before making your booking or purchase.
Cancellations and changes
Worldwide Tourism Business has the right, on reasonable grounds, to cancel any booking in case it is seems suspicious or fraudulent without any obligation to you including but not limited to providing the service, to cover possible travelling or legal costs.
Should you wish to amend or cancel your booking, confirmation must be received in writing from the lead named passenger. Any such request will not take effect until received by us.
The General Cancellation policy applicable to all accommodation bookings is:
Flexible Rate Bookings
Cancellations up to 15 days before arrival are free of charge, 100% of the paid amount will be refunded.
Cancellations 6-14 days before arrival 50% of the total value is charged, 50% of the total paid amount will be refunded.
Cancellations 1-5 days before arrival, early departure or NON SHOW 100% of the total value is charged.
Non-Refundable Rate Bookings
100% of the total stay is charged regardless the cancellation date.
In case different rules may apply as a consequence of different hotel policy, the specific different cancellation policies will supersede the above general cancellation fees and the valid policy will be defined during the booking process.
Cancellation Policy of products/services other than accommodation will be clearly stated during the booking process.
It is fully your responsibility prior to booking to ensure that you have a valid passport and/or other required travel documents, such as visas.
Neither we, nor the Service Supplier, accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements.
We recommend that all passengers take out adequate travel insurance. It is advisable that adequate insurance cover is arranged in order to cover you and your party against the cost of cancellation by you before you travel; the cost of assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness; loss of luggage and money; and other expenses. We accept no liability arising from your failure to obtain adequate cover.
We take responsibility for ensuring proper security measures are in place to protect your personal information. The booking information that you provide to us will be passed on only to the Service Suppliers of your travel arrangements or other persons necessary for the provision of your travel arrangements. The information may therefore be provided to public authorities such as customs or immigration if required by them, or as required by law. This applies to any sensitive information that you give to us such as details of any disabilities, or dietary and religious requirements. Certain information may also be passed on to security or credit checking companies.
We may also contact you from time to time with details of any special offers we may have available. If you do not wish to receive promotional emails, please inform us by email at email@example.com .
Exclusion of Liability
Worldwide Tourism Business is not liable:
- In case of the non-availability of services or products by the supplier
- Errors, omissions or refusals of the supplier
- Injury, death, property damage or other damages which may result from the supplier’s services
- Delays, cancellations, overbooking, strike, force majeure, which are not under our direct control
For use of the website you must be over the age of 18 and undertake the liability for any use of this website by minors on your behalf. You are obliged to use the website according to the law and complying with our terms and conditions. Any use of the website for misleading purposes or profit, or purposes that could cause any damage to the provision of services is prohibited. Any non-legitimate action in the use of this website shall result in your exclusion from accessing the services provided.
The contents of this website are the exclusive property of Worldwide Tourism Business, unless otherwise mentioned. Any copying, distribution, reproduction, process or sale without written authorisation of the management of Worldwide Tourism Business is prohibited. Deception of the public regarding the real provider of this website is prohibited.
Modification – Renewal of General Terms and Conditions
Worldwide Tourism Business has the right to amend or renew the above Terms and Conditions on the use of this website at any time with effect for the future without prior notice.
